Transmedial Access means approaching, entering, exiting data or communicating across different yet connected platforms. TMA is a reference to multiple access points where more than one medium is leveraged to create asymmetric yet complementary experiences, often related to specific roles, tasks, or responsibilities. TMA is not about the attempt of replicating the same user experience on disparate devices. Rather, it is about providing different ways for active participation, regardless of time, place, device at hand.
